JFK AND THE REAGAN REVOLUTION A Secret History of American Prosperity

by | Read by Norman Dietz

History • 9.5 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2016

Esteemed narrator Norman Dietz's voice holds much gravitas in this economic and political history. This quality gives a certain authority to the ideas covered, as if they, like their reader, have withstood the passage of time. Dietz smoothly conveys that the ideas are many decades old but are undergoing a subtle revival, particularly when JFK's and Ronald Reagan's names are linked in the discussion--to the surprise of many listeners, no doubt. The political goal of both men was prosperity, but the counter directions taken by the U.S. at various times do not seem to have worked, the authors insist. The details presented are extensive and sound deeply researched; Dietz moves nicely through them. D.R.W. © AudioFile 2017, Portland, Maine [Published: MARCH 2017]
