Ashford McNab, an accomplished actress and as good as it gets as a narrator, captures the story of lovely Marietta DiSonna, who must seduce Shakespeare to steal his latest play for a competing playwright in order to save her brother from harm. McNab's British accents, whether Cockney or those of the higher classes, are flawless and distinct. Her portrayal of the villain Marlowe is especially oily and memorable.
