Three con artists have plied their trades in busy English cities, but now that they’re ready for something more exciting and fruitful, they discover the possibility of the grandest scam of all. Annie Aldington goes after the characters of Fran, Jason, and Eileen with a broad understanding of their feelings and a sensitivity to their backgrounds. Not often does one find an action story with such well-rounded characters. Aldington’s performance brings drama and great en-richment to the book.
