Loneliness--we all struggle with it. Tom Parks narrates this biblically saturated message on the importance of community with a zeal that underscores its importance. His enthusiasm throughout the audiobook highlights the joy that is experienced with true fellowship. Yet he balances this excitement with a sad tone when identifying the effects of not being involved in community. Even his reading of the discussion questions at the ends of the chapters aids the listener in meditating on the particular topic in each chapter. Listeners will appreciate Parks's efforts as they consider their own role in bringing the lonely into a community of belonging, thanks to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
