CONFESSIONS OF A MEDICAL HERETIC

by | Read by Alan Sklar

Biography & Memoir • 8.25 hrs. • Unabridged • © 1970

This is a revisionist view of the medical profession and the men and women who practice it. It's jaundiced view is fifteen years old. The author, at the time a widely syndicated columnist, is against zero population growth, women working outside the home, unmarried people, birth control, abortion, homosexuality and doctors. The narrator does an excellent job reading with the inflection and meaning the author must have felt when he wrote it. This book, dated as it is, might not be a good selection for libraries. The author is, as he says himself in the book, a nut, a fanatic and a heretic. E.F. ©AudioFile, Portland, Maine [Published: SEPT 94]
