ALI A Life

You have to love an audiobook that makes such a big deal out of being an unauthorized biography. Enough has been written about "the Champ" that's laudatory and fawning. This book gives us Ali the man, with all his faults and vices, to go along with the talent and personality that made him the most compelling athlete of his time. Narrator Kevin R. Free delivers this work in a relaxed, upbeat tone. He dabbles in some character voices but focuses his energy on varying his reading until it reaches an almost sing-song style.
