JUSTICE LEAGUE #3 Wings of War

Comic books without pictures may seem like an oxymoron, but this production proves that the concept can work, and work well. In this story, members of the Justice League are in Metropolis at the World Assembly, ensuring that there are no mishaps at the peace accords between the warring nations of Luristan and Kaznia. When Batman's foe, Bane, appears, apparently involved in illegal arms sales, the Justice League goes into high alert. Erik Bergmann captures the essence of the characters, whether gruff Batman, sullen Hawkgirl, virtuous Superman, or smart-aleck Flash.
