Author Nagle unpacks what she calls the trolls of 4Chan, the fascist Alt-right, and other extremist ideologues who have infiltrated the world today. Narrator Mary Sarah's crisp English accent and clear voice prove appealing as Nagle explains her sophisticated ideas-- how Gramscian ideas helped fascists prosper, for example. While Sarah's timing is effective in pacing the complex commentary, her tone is sometimes flat. Nonetheless, Nagle's exploration of how the ideals and possibilities of the online world have been lost or corrupted by a fascistic right, anarchistic extremists, and a constantly infighting left will have listeners wondering where we can go from here.
