THE SCHOOL OF LOVE

Christianity's early mystics gave the author, an Episcopal priest, an important lesson: Openness to God and the self should be part of a continuous spiritual learning process. Christianity can express something new every time we allow love (which is the center of real faith) to connect us with God, with others, and with our highest purpose. Buddhism makes his Christianity stronger, Jones says, and its wide reach is an important part of the program, but not one that diminishes his Christian focus.
