Prolific Christian fiction author T. Davis Bunn has delivered another legal thriller on par with mainstream contemporaries Grisham and Martini. Attorney Marcus Glenwood, introduced in THE GREAT DIVIDE, takes the case when the child of a wealthy CEO is kidnapped by her opera star mother, who abandoned her at birth. Narrator Buck Schirner confidently portrays the Southern lawyer as the drama unfolds both in and out of the courtroom. Schirner also illustrates the international flavor of the opera world with his depictions of diva Erin Brandt and her cohorts. Although this abridgment has left the courtrooms scenes to a minimum, there is no shortage of suspense as Marcus and his assistant try to rescue the child from the kidnappers.
