RETRIBUTION

Moffat's background as a mountain guide makes this mystery set in the Cumbrian hills unique. Elderly and arthritic hill walker Miss Pink decides that all is not well in this apparent paradise when two very different and unconnected women die mysteriously. Suspects and motives abound, with narrator Rowena Cooper handling diverse characters and the well-written narrative splendidly. Cooper's temperamental teenager is outstanding as is her outspoken senior, Miss Pink. Listeners are kept on the edge until the last minute.
