Arrigan's tale pits Cian O'Horgan, school-age heir of Glenderry House, and his younger sister, Jo, against a malevolent spirit from the past. To secure freedom from the supernatural burden, they must thwart Grimstone's onslaught. Dermot Crowley's craft delivers an eerie experience that trails goose bumps deliciously along the spine long after the hearing. While the story launches into treacherous past events and a future of uncertain, outcome, Crowley's superb fine-tuning of character breathes added zest into the production, making the heroes' fear, bravado, and bravery as palpable as actual experience.
