A DANGEROUS FORTUNE

It all starts with a murder in the swimming hole in 1866. Years later, the same characters are wound tightly into an inescapable web of intrigue, finance and murder. Ken Follett weaves this tale, and Tim Curry reads it, using every ounce of his talents. Each character is clearly defined in speech and mannerisms. The British accents and dialects are understandable and separate each personality. The story is punctuated by sound effects and quiet music, sometimes indicating a change in scene, sometimes a significant event. The abridgment is seamless.
