Two star-crossed lovers, one African, the other African-American, meet after a two-decades-long separation. This novel is an intense exploration of the quandary of being in love with two different people at the same time. Peter Francis James delivers a compassionate performance as a decent enough man trying to determine which life decision to follow, the one dictated by his head, or the one that stirs his heart.
