This interesting and enjoyable mystery weaves historical facts throughout the fictional story. The lives of five Americans are in jeopardy as they search for the treasures of Troy. (The recent re-discovery of these treasures, excavated by the Schliemanns in the 1870's and lost again when the Russian Army advanced on Berlin, make the title of current interest.) Laurie Klein's pleasing voice enhances the story, which is told from the female point of view. Her small child and male characterizations are also well-done. She expresses appropriate emotion through pacing and vocal inflections and also does a nice job with British and Scandinavian accents. C.W. ©AudioFile, Portland, Maine [Published: NOV 93]
