CLASSIC TALES OF HORROR AND SUSPENSE

The peal of bells, the drum of hoof beats, and the howl of devilish hounds add to the charm of these old-fashioned tales of horror and suspense. Although the cast is not listed, it's evident that they were chosen for their authentic accents, and they're matched perfectly to their characters. These stories are worth revisiting, and the listener is reminded of a simpler time when a good story could stand on its own without involving explicit gore and violence to be compelling. D.L.M.
