WYOMING LEGEND

Narrator Todd McLaren brings listeners to a ranch in Wyoming. While recovering from an injury, world champion ice skater Karina Carter takes a job as nanny to wealthy Micah Torrance's 9-year-old daughter, Janey. McLaren brings the cast of characters to life using a variety of voices--from the German accent of the skating rink owner to the young tones of Janey and the strident quality of Micah's obnoxious fiancée. The pace of McLaren's narration is a bit slow, which can be effective for the moments of passion, but the listener might wish that he'd pick up the pace during the other parts of the story.
