THE WITCH WENDY STORIES

Witch Wendy and her cat, Snowflake, get into all sorts of kooky exploits with their cat and witch colleagues. Misunderstandings, puns, and insults abound, which narrator Suzy Aitchison delivers in a manner befitting all. (Even the talking cats don't seen odd.) When Witch Wendy's broom is out of commission for the annual broom race, Snowflake decides they can use a fire extinguisher instead. They save their archenemy, Witch Rosemarie, when her fire-spitting broom ignites. This story is told with all the breathlessness it warrants and ends with a great pun.
