DEAD EYES

Actress Chris Calloway has two problems--she's been recently blinded, and now she's being stalked by a clever psychotic. Ferrone's thorough interpretation of the three primary characters is excellent. He handles shifts between thought, dialogue and description flawlessly. Blind or partially sighted readers will especially appreciate the author's and narrator's way of dealing with the lead character's blindness. All listeners will enjoy an important scene that hinges upon the distraction caused by an audiobook in the story. Well crafted, well recorded and well suited for listening.
