DRAGON QUEST

This story continues one begun in THE DRAGONLING and A DRAGON IN THE FAMILY. Here, young Darek is alarmed by his little dragon, Zantor's, affection for Rowena (the chief elder's daughter). When Darek refuses the village leader's offer to buy Zantor as a gift for Rowena's birthday, the chief orders a dragon hunt that threatens to end in violence for dragons and hunters alike. Jeff Woodman's experience shows in his evenly paced narration, as well as in his development of characters.
