TEARS OF A TIGER

by | Read by Various Narrators

Young Adult • 4 hrs. • Unabridged • © 1994

Several narrators combine their skills to read a tale that has been told many times before. Although the story itself is dated, the lessons are true. A bit preachy in the delivery, the story is about drinking, driving, and the car crash that ends a young life. The surviving teens must try to manage the guilt and the reality of death. One teen cannot cope and commits suicide, leaving his friends to deal with tragedy again. The narrators seem stilted in some of the dialogue, and none distinguish themselves as outstanding, except the one who performs Keisha. She captures the spirit of the teenager's angst spot-on. D.L.M.
