Bernadette Dunne does an admirable job channeling Hepburn's iconic voice and mannerisms, lulling one occasionally into believing Hepburn herself is reading. This lengthy listen never drags, thanks to Dunne's phrasing, warmth, and presence and Hepburn's bold style and remarkable life. From her early childhood (tomboy with an attitude) to her early career (ingenue with an attitude), her later career (box office poison with an attitude), and her days with Spencer Tracy (loving, supportive with--well, you know), Hepburn's memoir maintains lively interest.
