The author's first book, RUN, BABY, RUN, led to a movie about his life--THE CROSS AND THE SWITCHBLADE. In his latest effort to preach the value of following Christ, the former New York gang member chronicles the events and realizations that brought him to his calling as a street evangelist. Using passages from the New and Old Testament, he illustrates principles of forgiveness and redemption with the kind of faith that only comes from being deeply tested. Though inspiring, the program is long and has little narrative continuity beyond the author's urgency and the story of the early days of the church.
