DEATH OF AN ANGEL

Two old nuns with a penchant for trouble take on a disturbed fat girl and the quest to find a killer/rapist. The law pursuing the perpetrator suffers severe setbacks. Sister Mary Helen and friend flutter about and arrive for the grisly conclusion. The tangled web of psychology, pathos, mystery and some religion that make up this chronicle would create a challenge for any reader. Conlin essays to put it all together as she tries on different voicing, all of which demonstrate excellent enunciation, as well as competent characterization.
