The young author's over-the-top language and discussions about every type of sex you can imagine make this useful audio a challenge to narrate authentically. Erin Bennett's performance has few, if any, interpretive flaws, but her vocal personality--somewhat conservative and mature--doesn't fit the author's streetwise persona. Though the mismatch is obvious, Bennett's performance works fine when the author's edgy language is not in high gear. The trauma and sex therapist describes how complicated physical intimacy issues can be. Offering a variety of creative remedies for cultural and trauma-related sexual problems, her case studies and insights will open minds and promote self-acceptance. She's a broad and nonjudgmental thinker whose advice conveys compassion toward people who she says may be missing one of life's greatest pleasures.
