CLIFTON WEBB A One-Person Play in Two Acts

Narrator John Boulanger gracefully introduces the multitalented Clifton Webb from the 1940s-50s. Webb excelled at ballroom dancing, opera (he had 24 parts "ready to go"), stage, and screen. Boulanger's portrayal of Webb is subtle, while his depiction of snobbish Maybelle, Webb's mother, is forceful as she dominates his life. Listeners will enjoy hearing about Webb's most famous--and hilarious--role in SITTING PRETTY as prim and proper Lynn Belvedere, who is a nanny to three children.
