MINNIE AND MOO AND THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

They're back! This time the dynamic cow duo plans to save Christmas for the farmer's grandchildren by delivering the toys he has misplaced. Listening to Minnie and Moo act out rewritten lines from "'Twas The Night Before Christmas" ("and all through the farm/not a creature was stirring/except in the barn") is a hoot: Picture chickens with plastic forks strapped on for antlers, and you get a sense of the hilarity. As in her other performances in this series, Barbara Caruso does a great job with pacing, and her clear, careful reading voice helps young readers follow along as she draws out the humor in Cazet's story.
