Thésèse Plummer returns to narrate as Frey, the unlikely heroine of the Imposters series. As Frey's duties as savior and rebel leader become more difficult, she becomes reliant on these emotional controllers, and Plummer's narration take on new life. When Frey uses "calm," Plummer's voice smooths out. When she uses "resolute," Plummer's voice hardens. Sometimes Plummer is asked to deliver multiple emotions at once, and the listener is rewarded with her stunning interpretations. Hidden beneath those wild emotional swings is the voice of an addict.
