BOOTY NOMAD

by | Read by Mark Feuerstein

Fiction • 6 hrs. • Abridged • © 2004

David, a young Manhattanite and producer of children's TV programs, has just dumped his longtime love and is searching for a new one. Events humorous, touching, provocative, and at times implausible follow, peppered with monologues and dialogues both raunchy and hilarious. An original pop song following the story, though uninspired, clearly conveys the characters' emotions. Mark Feuerstein reads energetically, with excellent comic timing, but has minimal ability to distinguish voices, so we are often left wondering who said what. But the listener muddles through, and even this flaw is no reason to pass up this funny, engaging novel. W.M. (c) AudioFile 2004, Portland, Maine [Published: AUG/ SEP 04]
