Terry Wale's voice enunciates every word in this present-day thriller. In post- Wall Berlin someone is setting up racial attacks and then murdering the attackers. It falls to Porsche-driving policeman Muller, accompanied by a female American journalist, to investigate. Things heat up when Muller's aunt is held captive by a political fanatic relative and his buddies. It then turns out the lady reporter isn't just along for the ride. Wale’s elegant reading tends to distance the listener from the story’s brutal events, but not from the characters, who are well portrayed, especially the villain.
