But this information is ideally suited to audio. In two hours the listener receives 78 cost-cutting tips capable of satisfying even the most hard-nosed capitalist. However, those looking for insight into the softer side of business won't find it here. Fifer acknowledges that one must be stubborn to implement these suggestions, but he maintains that employees will respect their bosses more for doing so. Distracting plugs for Fifer's consulting firm pepper the program, but some of these ideas, especially those for increasing sales and pricing, are worth the commercial interruptions.
