MADAME HILLARY could be considered the follow-up to Tyrell's earlier BOY CLINTON. In this book, Tyrell paints Hillary Clinton as a conniving, scheming, and power-hungry woman. Richard Rohan's reading offers a tone and pace that captures the character of the book. Rohan clearly expresses Tyrell's contempt for the New York senator and former first lady. The book does not attempt to be balanced at all, and Rohan projects Tyrell's frequent sarcasm toward his subject.
