THE EXHIBITION OF PERSEPHONE Q

Narrator Brittany Pressley draws the listener into the strange world of Percy Q, a young woman experiencing an existential crisis in post-9/11 New York City. Pregnant and married to Misha, a man she hardly knows, she wanders the streets at night and inexplicably harbors thoughts of killing him. When an exhibition catalogue mysteriously arrives in her mailbox, she finds that her ex-fiancé, now a successful photographer, has mounted a digitally altered show of a nude woman that she realizes is herself. But no one believes her, and she begins to doubt her very existence. Pressley provides a convincing Russian accent for the occasional comment by Misha.
