DARE TO TEMPT The Dare Nation, Book 2

Erin Mallon and Joe Arden's complementary narration brings listeners the romance of Damon Prescott and Evie Wolfe. When Damon, a pro football player, tests positive for performance-enhancing drugs, he hires Evie, an investigator, to prove his innocence. She goes undercover as Damon's girlfriend. Mallon and Arden seamlessly switch between the characters. Evie is being stalked by a former boyfriend, and both narrators convey the stress she feels. As romance develops between the two, both Mallon and Arden vocally stoke the flames, deepening their voices and adding breathy overtones. The sign of a good dual narration is when the listener doesn't have to carefully track who is speaking, and that is certainly the case here.
