THICK AS THIEVES

Narrator Kyf Brewer meets the challenge of voicing a full cast of characters over two time periods. Twenty years ago, three individuals, who were being manipulated by a bully, committed a robbery. By the end of that night, one of the thieves was dead, one was in jail, and one disappeared with a half-million dollars and was accused of murder. Now the younger daughter of the bandit who vanished returns to town, and long-held secrets unravel. Brewer voices Ledge, the bad boy turned hero, in a fitting deep, rough voice. However, he is less successful at differentiating the female voices. Nonetheless, he sustains the quick pace through the twists and turns to keep listeners engaged through the surprising conclusion.
