ALL YOU WANT TO KNOW--GIANTS OF PHILOSOPHY: PLATO AND ARISTOTLE

Simon & Schuster has purchased the Giants of Philosophy series from Knowledge Products; this is a repackaging of selections from the series. Rather than selling them separately as Knowledge Products did, this package has Plato and Aristotle together. Knowledge Products produced an excellent product, so it's good that these audio presentations will be available more widely. Heston's low and serious voice is great for presenting the philosophies of Plato and Aristotle. Heston reads clearly at a great pace. There is also a host of performers reading the various quoted passages that enhances the presentation. The script is well written and makes for a good introduction to these great philosophers.
