In the world of Monty Python, sheep fly, pet store owners blithely sell dead parrots, candy makers fill chocolates with strange creatures, and lumberjacks sing proudly about being cross-dressers. The sketches translate fairly well to audio, although missing the physical and visual humor could send one scurrying to the video store. Fans will be pleased to hear old favorites. Newcomers to the Flying Circus also will be tickled by the sometimes silly, sometimes laugh-out-loud, sometimes "groaner" sketches, marked by exag-geration, word play, and absurdity of a particularly British sensibility. Non-British listeners might have some difficulty with the strong accents, but the rewind button helps. If laughter is the best medicine, Monty Python is good for your health. E.S.
