Shiloh Gray and Nathaniel Black's engaging dual narration adds zest to this fun, sensual, "age-gap romance," set in Melbourne, Australia. Physical therapist Samira Broderick and stuntman Rory Radcliffe meet by chance after a stressful day. Gray and Black generate playful yet electric chemistry in alternating chapters as the lovers resolve to keep their sexual relationship attachment-free. Samira's homecoming after living in Los Angeles is complicated by her biracial identity within her Indian community and her fractured relationship with her mother, Kushi. Gray's skillful use of accents enhances her characterizations--particularly Samira's blend of Australian and American speech. As Rory prepares for an audition, Black exudes his charm and insecurities in equal measure. Emotionally attuned performances create space for listeners to share the lovers' intersecting lives.
