Music, voices, and acting are all high quality on this four-episode series of satirical skits from BBC Radio, and some impressions are accurate and funny--Russell Crowe, Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan Kenobi, George W. Bush, Judi Dench. Even without knowing the target's voice, the listener may find humorous such pieces as Nigella Lawson's warning against purchasing "dodgy" stolen recipes. But many of the parodied targets--British radio and TV celebs, politicians, athletes--will be obscure even to Anglophiles. Listening to people laugh without being able join in is tiresome, and even some understandable skits aren't all that funny. It's hard to see why this program would be marketed in the U.S. W.M.
