THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES & THE TWELVE DANCING PRINCESSES

Two classic fairy tales are performed as original radio plays. The clever structure of each story involves a modern pair relaying the fairy tale as though recounting a personal story from their own pasts. In "The Emperor's New Clothes," two elderly, New York sisters claim to have been the tailors who fashioned the invisible suit. In "The Twelve Dancing Princesses," young parents recall the story of their unusual courtship at the palace. Accents, intonations, music and sound effects are all used to wonderful effect.
