When paleoanthropologist Ken Lauder and his geologist partner Ngili Nglamena discover an ape-human skeleton in the African wilderness, an extraordinary adventure begins. Ken, forced to protect this find, uncovers an even grander one: a living hominid boy he encounters after returning to the fossil site. Joseph Campanella brings this story to life with an apparent cast of thousands, changing accents from American to British to African and back again.
