CRAZY FOR YOU

Quinn McKenzie's adoption of a stray dog makes her realize that her life (with bland fellow teacher Bill) isn't what she wants. When she leaves him to start anew, she reconnects with lifelong friend and ex-brother-in-law Nick--and both she and Nick find that there's more to their friendship than they thought. Sandra Burr narrates this likable romance with well-crafted voices and appropriate emotional cadences throughout. The somewhat jarring note Crusie inserts by having Bill turn into a crazed stalker is handled so well by Burr that it doesn't seem out of place in this otherwise lighthearted romance.
