SPIRITS IN THE WIRES

Linked together through their ties to writer Christy Riddell, a series of characters is at the center of a number of interlocking events. The genre-crossing plot draws partly on traditional literary elements, such as magic and fairies, and partly on the new conventions of cyberspace. One character, Saskia, believes that she was born on a Web site. Christine Marshall and William Dufris provide an animated narration. They pass the story back and forth adeptly as the plot shifts between female and male characters.
