ROBERT LUDLUM'S THE LAZARUS VENDETTA

Scott Brick narrates a roller-coaster ride of epic proportions in the fifth installment of the Covert One series. This time, Lieutenant Colonel Jon Smith confronts the Lazarus Movement, once altruistic, now motivated by a greedy desire for power. A web of intrigue surrounds the mysterious head of the movement and the futuristic bio-weapon known as “nanophages” (which liquefy humans from the inside out when inhaled). Brick identifies characters through vocal mannerisms, tone, and timbre, matching voice to mood. Vivid descriptions of death throes are not for the squeamish.
