THE EVERGREENS

Storyteller Odds Bodkin, a magician of voice and sound, offers something different in his newest release. Here, Odds collects a gentler, kinder group of stories with origins in legend and nature. His delivery is similar--slightly restrained--though for Odds, it’s all relative, and there’s ample energy and enthusiasm in each telling. This reviewer has always thought that a live performance of Odds’ tales offers the most appropriate setting for his dynamism, but with EVERGREENS comes a welcome program that showcases his talents even better in a recorded format.
