EVERY MAN A TIGER

The resurrection of the United States Air Force after Vietnam and its brilliant performance (along with members of the coalition) in Desert Storm in 1991 are told by Clancy and Horner. A companion to Clancy's INTO THE STORM, which told of the rebirth of the Army after Vietnam as seen in the career of then Lieutenant-General Fred Franks, this work follows the career of then Lieutenant-General Chuck Horner. Listening to both Clancy and Horner, we see changes in doctrine, styles of command, and the improvement of morale, as well as the revolution in warfare brought about by computers and new technology. This superb work is skillfully read by Jonathan Marosz. He reads in an understated, deadpan style. His staccato rhythm suggests a journalistic tone that is appropriate for this work.
