THE EVOLUTION OF JANE

Jane leaves her divorce behind and travels on vacation to the Galapagos Islands where she is reunited with her cousin and former childhood friend. With the obsession of a young adolescent for a "best friend," Jane tries to understand why the friendship ended. Aasne Vigesaa presents Jane rather like a "Valley Girl," whose obsession with this question (and with herself) totally absorbs her. Vigesaa highlights the extent to which the adult has not moved beyond feelings of rejection and being left behind by speaking in the voice, tempo and manner of the young girl who just does not understand but refuses to let it go.
