Expressing his grief over Bourdain's suicide, Vitale pays fitting tribute to the joys and frustrations of working with "Tony" around the world. Authors reading their own works can be a mixed bag, but Vitale does an outstanding job of conveying the logistical effort that goes into making shows like Bourdain's and paints a vivid portrait of the complicated man who was alternately charming and confounding.
