THE EYE OF THE ELEPHANT

Mark and Delia Owens, well-known crusaders for the preservation of endangered species, settled in the game park in the North Luangwa Valley of Zambia in the late 1980’s. This is their personal and highly engrossing account of their seemingly impossible mission: to save the elephants from extinction at the hands of poachers. Delia’s account is read cooly and crisply by Frances Cassidy. Mark’s diaries are narrated equally effectively by Jonathan Marosz. No dramatic presentation is necessary.
