With even pacing and a tone of whimsy, British narrator Charlie Sanderson tells the story of Brandon, a boy who boasts that he can count to 10 million and proceeds to do so. Though his family and friends have their doubts because he rarely follows through on his claims, he keeps right on counting. Soon he becomes a celebrity, and his manager, a self-centered teacher, takes control of his life as the final number of 10 million draws closer. Sanderson succeeds in creating a unique experience for listeners as the counting breaks in throughout the story.
